There are times (and specific products) that call for massive splurging, and then there are times when saving coins is at the top of our list. Beauty products contain some ‘splurge’ items and some ‘save’ items, but we just discovered an online store that has kind of made us rethink our splurging.
Shop Hush is an online store that offers inexpensive products from trendy and rare brands. We love that Shop Hush offers skincare products like the must have TonyMoly Pokemon face masks and cleansers. We found a lot of cute and kitschy skincare and cosmetic products, as well as well-known brands like L.A. Girl and NYX. Plus, we’ve seen so many inexpensive dupes for high-end products that we just couldn’t pass up.
At first, we too were skeptical. We wondered if this site was legit (or legal). So we did our research and watched Shop Hush Hauls on YouTube and confirmed that Shop Hush isn’t too good to be true! Also little-known fact about the beauty industry, a lot of products are exactly the same, but they have different logos and different packaging, and a different price tag.
Here are just some of the dupes we’ve found so far:
The Okalan Venus and Jupiter palettes are listed at just $8 on the Shop Hush website, while the original Venus I and Venus II palettes are selling on Lime Crime for $34 (what a steal). For the most part, even the shade names are similar. We actually ordered these palettes in our most recent haul and the pigmentation and quality are comparable to Lime Crime. The only inconsistencies we found with the Okalan dupes are replacing matte shades for shimmers and vice versa.
The ABH Modern Renaissance costs $42 while the Irresistible palette is only $9! Plus, this is a true dupe with the shimmer and matte shades being consistent to the originals.
Anyone and everyone has seen or used the Urban Decay Naked Palette. It has every shimmery neutral that anyone could want or need for their eyes ranging from cream to gold to gunmetal. The Okalan palette has all the same shades (with different names and a different layout) and the pigmentation is on point. Why spend $54 when you can spend $8?
As beauty addicts, it is hard to find reliable sources to purchase items online, but Shop Hush is the answer to our prayers. Shop Hush offers free shipping on purchases over $25 and they have a hassle free return policy. Oddly, they also send order confirmations and shipment information via Facebook Messenger, but as long as we get our orders we aren’t complaining. Give them a chance because we want you to save your dolla dolla bills y’all! After all, spring has arrived and the good weather calls for all of us to slay our makeup looks.
