Who needed a fashion show at NYFW, when your wife is Kim Kardashian West? Genius, was Kanye West brilliant idea to not do a traditional runway show at New York Fashion Week last year…
Fashion’s biggest night happened in New York City as film, TV, music and fashion celebrities gathered to celebrate the 69th annual Met Gala. This year the theme was “Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art of the In-Between,” honoring the Japanese fashion icon who is known for her avant-garde designs.
Instead of a traditional red carpet, guests found a blue and cream colored carpet awaiting them, and the star-studded lineup came dressed to the nine. We scoured the Internet for the best looks, from gala co-chair Katy Perry who showed up as a lady-in-red to the slinky Couture number draped around Kendall Jenner.
